It's a Date!

To say that Nate and I had a rough week is putting it lightly.  Laura is finally better, eating, and getting our money out of her diapers.  In celebration, my in-laws have offered to babysit while Nate and I go out tonight.  And man, am I excited for a few hours out of the house without the baby!

So here's my dilemma: what should Nate and I do??

Nate specifically said no mall (so shoe shopping is out), and that I have to decide where we're going.  Do we go to a movie for the first time in two years?  Do we go out to eat?  Where do we go to eat?

Nate and I are in the Baltimore area.  If you have any ideas, please let me know!!

For us, the best date night is a LONG dinner with a glass or two of wine and good, adult conversation. And go to a movie, too! Let loose and relax... I hope you have a great time!
I'm jealous of your date night--how fun! We don't get our much these days, but our best dates have been when my husband and I reconnect as friends. We went to dinner and a nickel arcade on our last date and had a blast!
I'd recommend the movie theater in Hunt Valley and going next door to Greystone Grill. Not only is their food AMAZING, they are on restaurant.com so you could save a few dollars! If you sign up for their mailing list (which I do!) you can even get discounts on the giftcards. Right now if you type in "eat" you get 50% off the whole price. (Ok I am starting to sound like an ad for them right now!). Best part of Greystone Grill, unlike other restaurants, there is no weekend exception! But of course, read the fine print.
